As owner and creative director of TAYLORHART.DESIGNS, Taylor is changing the narrative of how fashion serves function for children living with complex care needs.
A firm believer that ‘kids should stand out for their personality and not their clothing’ Taylor’s designs integrate functional adaptations while hitting the target on the style meter. It’s the intersection of fashion, function and wellness that fuels Byrom’s passion for her littlest clients.
‘When you have a five year old who just wants to wear a dress to kindergarten but can’t because of a feeding tube, it’s very easy to use design to make a difference’. So whether you have a feeding tube or not, every piece of TAYLORHART.DESIGN clothing can be worn by every child. That’s what helps kids just be kids.
A graduate of the Chip and Shannon Wilson School of Design, Taylor was recognized as a Surrey Board of Trade Top 25 Under 25 in 2016 and received the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce 2017 Entrepreneur of the Year award.
