Top 25 Under 25 Award!

Last night I was incredibly honored to receive one of
Surrey Board of Trade’s Top 25 Under 25 Awards!

I was lucky enough to receive two nominations for this award: Dean Carolyn Robertson from the Chip & Shannon Wilson School of Design, KPU

“Our Dean, Carolyn Robertson nominated Taylor for the win, “We’re thrilled that Taylor’s contribution to the independence and wellness of children with complex medical needs has been recognized. Taylor exemplifies the type of graduate that we are so proud to support. Our goal is to educate and inspire our students to engage in human-centred designs that provide real world solutions.”, says Robertson. “

Our leggings were designed and made exclusively for the Little Black Dress Gala — but we love them so much we think they are the perfect addition to jolie hart!

Our leggings would normally sell for $25 BUT because these are samples made & used in a fashion show, we are selling them for a special price! You can find the samples below on our Etsy Store! Quantities are limited – only 1 per size & style!

Hart Legging – 4C Coral & Floral

Hart Legging – 5C Navy, Foxes &Floral

Hart Legging – 5C Cropped Floral & Foxes

Love our styles but don’t have a little one with complex care medical needs? That’s okay, we believe every little girl should feel pretty in her clothes and your little one can wear jolie hart too! Knee patches are cute for everyone!

Kids need to stand out for their personality – not their illness.

We are so excited to reveal the video project we have been working on since February! Watch our story: where did the name jolie hart come from? Where did jolie hart start? What do we believe in? This has been a an incredible journey so far, join us as we continue to build our company and make a difference for children and families across Canada and the United States .

Thank you for your love and support of jolie hart, thank you Charles de Jesus for the amazing video and thank you Nana, you always believed in my dream – I wish you were here to see it come true .

In January I was asked to participate in a series of alumni spotlights with Kwantlen Polytechnic University and JoyTV! It was a privilege representing KPU and The Wilson School of Design.

KPU was where I learned my craft – and where jolie hart originally started, in my final year of the Fashion Design & Technology program.

I had a wonderful time working with the JoyTV videographers Leah Bolton and
Dean Atwal! You made my first experience with live cameras feel easy and relaxed.

Check out the video!
(I need to learn to smile or something while others are speaking!)
