Today we’re showing you a little of what we’ve been working on for Fall 2015!

We want your opinion on Sweater Knits!

Sweater Knits are a new idea we’ve been playing with for jolie hart and we want to know your thoughts!

Yarn Type is a major factor for any knit item for kids – what yarns work better for your child?

Currently these samples are made from 100% acrylic (pink cardigan) and 50% wool 50% acrylic fibers (hats & shoulder wrap).

All yarns are very soft to touch.

  Sweater Knit items will be limited in quantity as our focus is on play clothes with adaptable features for your girl’s complex care needs.

We thought it may be fun to have a few pieces for fall that were bright in color and cozy – our favourite so far is the shoulder wrap!

(we think it would be great to wear while in a wheelchair when it’s chilly out or over a dress while playing tea party!)

Happy Easter from TAYLORHART.DESIGNS !

We hope everyone is having a wonderful Easter holiday.

We also wanted to take this time to say Thank You to everyone who participated in our callout for measurements!

We will now be able to analyze existing size charts and develop a size range for our jolie hart customer.

Once our sizing is determined, we will be able to order our mannequin, grade our patterns to size

and start sewing samples to test our fit!

We Need Your Feedback!

Happy Wednesday! We hope everyone is having a good week!

We are starting to work on our patterns for our first launch collection of jolie hart and we need your help!

After reviewing size charts for 2-5 year old girls online, we want to make sure we are choosing measurements that are representative of the jolie hart customer. If you and your child have a moment, we would love it if you could take their measurements and send them to us!

We have put together the below How To Measure guide and our estimated size chart for your reference!

Feel free to also include any comments about how clothes fit your child in general, what they like/dislike, anything at all!

I am so excited to announce that jolie hart is officially starting!

jolie hart made it’s first appearance at Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s The SHOW in 2013.

I have been working and gaining experience in the fashion industry and it is now time to bring

The SHOW

jolie hart launched on april 17 2013 at Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s THE SHOW. thirty-five incredible designer’s collections walked the runway and launched their careers. Thank you so much to everyone who came to The Show and who have supported me over this final year of university.

Whimsical Meets Complex Care

a whimsical person or idea is unusual, playful, and unpredictable, rather than serious and practical.

Follow designer, Taylor Byrom for jolie hart, a collection of playful pieces for little girls with complex care needs. The clothing has been designed with function, style and wellness as its focus. Each piece is functional for children with Feeding Tubes, Tracheotomy Tubes, Wheelchair Dependency and Sensory Processing Disorders.
