Q: I’m having trouble understanding the wash instructions!

A: We have made new care/content tags that are hopefully easier to read and will last longer! We will be replacing any pre-existing tags in ready to ship garments and adding these to any new orders once they arrive.

Our care instructions are: 

Meaning: Machine wash cold, delicate, do not tumble dry (hang dry), warm iron

Q: Will you design sleepers or pjs?

A: I have had a lot of requests for sleepwear and I’ve looked into it a few time but in Canada and the United States there are fairly extensive safety laws for flammability. Because a child would be sleeping in it if there ever was a fire – if the clothing (or trim) was found to be flammable – the maker becomes liable. Until we are established with access to factory testing facilities, I am not comfortable making sleepwear at this time.If we ever get to the stage where the company can access proper testing facilities and meet these requirements then it will be FIRST on the list!

Q: Do we list on Etsy in Canadian Dollars?

A: Yes we do! Make sure if you are Canadian that your Etsy page is set up correctly in Canadian dollars – we have had a few customers who have had their settings default to USD! See the graphic below for more details 🙂

Q: Why are shipping prices so high?

A: Etsy requires Canadian shops to set up shipping from the furthest destination they ship to, for example: we ship across Canada, our shipping estimate is based on a package to Halifax. Shipping costs are based on a weight and package size estimate from Canada Post estimate from Canada Post, if shipping costs less than what we predicted we will refund the difference to you once the item has shipped. We will not ask you to pay more shipping.

We do our best to send out packages within 5-10 business days of receiving your order. We use the following methods to ship your packages:

Canda: Tracked Package – cheapest possible shipping option with tracking, approximately 5 business days depending on your location.

USA – Tracked Package approximately 6 business days depending on your location, in our experience USA packages take approximately 2 weeks.

United Kingdom – Small Packet International Air with Tracking, in our experience these packages take approximately 7 business days.

For all international packages please keep in mind packages can take time crossing the border. Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks for delivery. Some packages may take up to 4-6 weeks.

We currently offer shipping to Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom. More shipping destinations will be available as demand increases! If we do not currently ship to your location – please send us a message and we will be happy to give you an estimate on shipping costs.

TAYLORHART.DESIGNS is not responsible for any customs or duty fees that might incur, damages incurred while shipping or for lost or stolen packages.

Q: Will we do a custom garment?

A: We currently do not accept custom orders. In the interim, please feel free to stay in touch with us through email, our website or social media.

Q: Do we accept returns or exchanges?

A:Yes!

If you aren’t completely happy with your purchase, please notify TAYLORHART.DESIGNS in writing, within fourteen (14) days of receiving your purchase, and we’ll make it right.  A full refund or exchange is available (minus the cost of shipping)—items must be unwashed and unmarked with all original tags in place. When packing your item for return, please include a note with your name, invoice number and reason for return.

Refunds and exchanges will be processed after the product has been received by TAYLORHART.DESIGNS – return postage is the responsibility of the buyer.  If packages arrive without adequate postage pre-paid, the difference will be deducted from the eligible refund amount.  Exchanges will be processed per our purchasing policy with the buyer responsible for any increase in purchase price.

TAYLORHART.DESIGNS is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit.

TAYLORHART.DESIGNS has its own sizing method and charts need to be consulted before purchasing. Sizing chart and measuring guidelines are available on our website and listed in the item listing.

Q: BOYS? ADULTS? MORE GIRL’S SIZES?

A: Yes! Victory Hart is now available! Bigger/smaller girls sizes will come with demand and expansion, same for boys! We hope to see TAYLORHART.DESIGNS continue to grow and be able to support every one in the future 🙂
